This weekend, the PDXYAR pirates set our sails to the wild northlands of Enumclaw, Washington as we invade the inaugural Penumbra Fantasy Faire. We'll be hosting our Epic Scale Pirates game during both days of the event, so stop by our booth and join in on a game!

The ship is back in port, the stores unloaded and the crew on shore leave. The 4th Annual Portland Pirate Festival has come and gone, leaving the rum-soaked memories of a glorious weekend with some of our favorite piratical friends. There are so many who made PDXYAR's booth at this year's Pirate Fest a success, we're certain that we'd leave someone out by listing them all. But hell... we'll try it anyway.

It's official, NECA acquires WizKids.

Ahoy,

In what is likely the gaming industry's worst-kept secret over the past couple of months, NECA announced today that they have acquired WizKids. The agreement between NECA and former-owner Topps includes HeroClix (of course) as well as Pirates of the Cursed Seas. Does this mean that we'll finally see Return to Savage Shores? Will the broken distribution model for the game be fixed? Will Captain Redgoat get in trouble for stealing the name "Epic Scale" from the now-owners of the game?

All will be revealed... we hope.
